SOLVEIG GIN
Distilled with 8 botanicals including red grapefruit peel, organic thyme and lavender, Solveig is lush and verdant, like the prairie after an early summer rain.
The Scandinavian woman’s name Solveig (we pronounce it SOUL-vy, with a silent “g”) has deep Nordic roots, combining the elements “sol” sun and “veig” strength. We love both the history and the sound of Solveig – soulful, strong and bright. Just like our gin.

The Far North Method
Solveig gin is craft distilled with sensory cuts in a 50 gallon pot still with a 4 plate column designed by Vendome Copper & Brass Works.
Gin botanicals, including fresh grapefruit peel, organic thyme and dried lavender flower, are precisely measured into in a mesh bag and then placed inside the basket at the top of the column and vapor infused.
The resulting gin is fresh, citrusy and bright, and with much less of the biting pine often associated with mass produced gin.

TASTING NOTES
Offering a nose of citrus, pine cones and a hint of lavender, Solveig offers an etheral lightness on the palate. Complex and concentrated in the glass after twenty-four hours of air, the gin shows exceptional balance in the mid-palate, with added flavors of thyme and coriander.
“Your gins have ruined me for any other gin!"
