Crafted from non-GMO Heirloom Minnesota 13 Corn and AC Hazlet Winter Rye, Bødalen \BO-dah-lynn\ is a bold, high-rye bourbon milled, fermented, and distilled entirely at Far North in small batches.

The Far North Method
Open top fermented with house selected yeast for 4-5 days.
Double distilled to 150 proof on a 500 gallon hybrid pot still with an 8 plate column designed by Vendome Copper & Brass Works.
Barrel entry proof: 118.
Aged for 2 years in Minnesota-made oak barrels, Bødalen delivers layered complexity born of climate, grain, and time.
HIgh Rye Mash Bill: 60% Minnesota 13 Heirloom Corn, 30% AC Hazlet Rye, 10% Malt Barley

TASTING NOTES
Nose: Toffee, sweet corn, orange zest
Palate: Peppery and vegetal entry, woodsy depth
Finish: Long, rich, and persistent with bitter chocolate and brown sugar

1.5oz - Far North Bødalen Bourbon
.75oz - Cherry Heering Liqueur
.75oz - Dolin Sweet Vermouth
.25oz - Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
Stir and strain into a chilled Savage Pony Glass (4.5oz). Garnish with a branded maraschino cherry. Enjoy.

1.75 oz Bødalen Bourbon Whiskey
.25oz Rich Demerara Syrup (2:1)
2 Barspoons Fernet Branca (try MN-based Dampfwerk's Pfeffersack German-Style Fernet)
2 Dash Woodford Reserve Chocolate Bitters
Stir and strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with an orange peel and maraschino cherry. Place a couple of drops of chocolate bitters on the cube for the nose and for good luck!

.75oz - Aperol
.75oz - Lime Juice
.5oz - Honey Syrup (1:1)
1 Dash - Angostura Bitters
Shake and strain into a Coupetini (6oz). Garnish with a lemon peel. Enjoy!
