Far North Spirits, the northernmost craft distillery in the contiguous U.S., is located on a fourth generation working family farm in Skane Township, near Hallock, Minn.

From Minneapolis/St. Paul

  • Take I-94 to Fargo, ND (234 miles)
  • Take the I-29 Exit toward Grand Forks (80 miles)

From Grand Forks

  • Take I-29 North to Exit 187 Drayton (43 miles)
  • Turn Right onto ND-66; you’ll come a 4-way stop, continue on straight ahead over the bridge into MN, Road name changes to MN-11
  • Go 1.8 miles and Turn Left onto CR-7
  • Go 10.5 miles (again, you’ll come to another 4-way stop – keep going straight) and Turn Left onto CR-13
  • Go 3.4 miles (gravel road), Far North Spirits is on the Left

We are located on CR-13 (same thing as 220th Ave), 2 miles straight west of Northstar Agri Industries (canola plant on Hwy 75) and equal distance between Hallock and Kennedy.

From Kennedy/Hwy 75

  • Take CR-7 west, out of town about 1.5 miles 
  • Turn Right onto CR-13 / 220th Ave (gravel road) and go about 3.4 miles
  • Far North is the white farm shop building with the black roof 

From Hallock/Hwy 75

  • Take CR-1 / 2nd St S (intersection of the eye clinic and grain elevator) west, out of town about 1.5 miles
  • Turn Left onto CR-13 (same road as 220th Ave)
  • Go about 3.1 miles on CR-13. Follow the S-curve in the road and continue (don’t turn left or right at the grain bins) another 1.2 miles 
  • You’ll see a grain elevator peeking over the top of the trees in the distance on the right hand side of the road – that’s your destination
  • Far North is the white farm shop building with the black roof
